5 Week Reboot

 Hi Hailey,

The Metal Element is your dominant energy. It’s who you are. It’s your job to express this in the most positive ways.

Metal energy represents organisation, refinement and clarity. Your dominant energy is to ‘father’ – you’re conscientious with a natural ability to focus on what’s important for yourself and those around you. You love to plan. You love detail. These are your strengths. But when they’re out of balance you’re susceptible to anxiety, stress and overwhelm.

In the quiz, you mentioned your business and money can make you feel stressed. You’d like to be able to action your plans for the future with a more positive mindset around money.

I believe rebalancing your metal energy will help relieve some of the anxiety you have around money and your income generating future. Introducing Fire will soften the metal, and Earth will feed it. We’ll do this by rebalancing all elements so they fall back into place.

Your 5 Week Prescription

Note: I am not a doctor or medical professional. This prescription is a guide only. Always follow your own medical advice and intuition. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. Trust yourself and go with the flow. 

Instructions

1.      Don’t skip a week. Keep going until you’ve completed the prescription.

2.      Stick to the prescription EVERY DAY.

3.      Keep a journal as you go.

Trust the process and go with the flow. The more open you are to this prescription, the more profound your results. Like acupuncture, small delicate changes in your daily life, can translate to massive shifts in your energy and flow.


WEEK 1

Replenish Your Water  

Water is all about being in flow with life, creativity and imagination. It’s passive and deep.

Do This

1.      Drink soup – this adds hydrations and essential water minerals to your body.

2.      Take an hour of downtime every day – This does not include mindless TV. I’m referring to true relaxation, mediation, bath soaking, losing yourself in a novel, a massage or day dreaming.

3.      Take an hour of creativity time at least once a week. Let your mind run free. Journal, daydream, draw, do some unconscious automatic writing about the dreams you have for your life as if there were no limits. BE. Gather your dreams, strengthen and fertilise them.

Don’t Do This

1.      Don’t pay attention to a schedule - Let yourself flow through the day. If possible, ditch the alarm clock and wake up naturally.

2.      Defer obligations – Find ways to free up more time for yourself. It’s only for seven days!

3.      Don’t over exert yourself – Chill out on the hard-core exercise. Take it EASY.

 

In Summary, for the next seven days:

·        Trust your intuition – by far the most important!

·        Surround yourself with images of water and dark colours (including your wardrobe).

·        Take a long relaxing soak.

·        Exercise SLOWLY and gently.

·        Let your creative juices flow.

·        Read fiction.

·        Keep a dream journal.

·        Hydrate

·        Say NO more often

·        Give yourself more sleep and solitude time


WEEK 2

Activate Your Wood

 Wood is all about growth, learning and schedules.

Do This

1.      Spend 30 minutes in nature every day.

2.      Make a list of what you WANT (as opposed to have to do). Write it by hand.

3.      Be linear – eg take the most direct routes possible, create a new to do list each day, and stick to a schedule.

Don’t Do This

1.      Don’t stay up past 11pm.

2.      Don’t stay quiet – speak up and voice your opinions.

3.      Don’t take a break from exercise – incorporate physical movement into your day, every day.

 

In Summary, for the next seven days:

·        Say YES! – get out of your comfort zone and push yourself to accept new challenges. By far the most important!

·        Add images of trees and the colour green to your surroundings or wardrobe.

·         Emphasise practicality in everything you do.

·        Do exercise that requires physical effort.

·        Sing, shout, create noise – try it in the shower!

·        Learn something new.

·        Volunteer for a cause you believe in.

·        Clean up your diet – no processed foods, just fresh.

·        Build or fix something.

·        Create a vision board.


WEEK 3

Ignite Your Fire

 Fire is all about high energy, fast interaction, movement and emotions.

 Do This

1.      Be spontaneous – be in the moment and follow your immediate inner feelings.

2.      Hand out compliments as you go about your day to people you come across.

3.      Cultivate a sense of wonder and delight – acknowledge awesomeness in your everyday life and explore amazing venues.

Don’t Do This

1.      Don’t be too practical – follow your heart.

2.      Don’t repress your feelings or emotions – let them out by either talking about it, being with it, writing, punching or screaming a pillow.

3.      Don’t forget to SMILE. It will change your day and how people interact with you!

 

In Summary, for the next seven days:

·        Follow your heart – the most important! Ask yourself “what does my heart say”?

·        Add bright, warm colours or animal patterns to your wardrobe and surroundings.

·        Add sparkles and candlelight to your surroundings.

·        Speed up – exercise, run, dance to a fast beat.

·        Add variety to your meals.

·        PLAY.

·        Go to a live performance.

·        Talk and express yourself.

·        Add some fiery passion and excitement to your life.

·        Laugh more!

·        Get inspired by books, movies, audios or people. 


WEEK 4

Ground Yourself

Earth energy is quite literally terra-firma – connect to the ground and nurture yourself.

Do This

1.      Practice self-care.

2.      Eat breakfast to ground and support yourself for the day.

3.      Ask for help – connect with your community.

Don’t Do This

1.      Don’t skip meals.

2.      Don’t be so disciplined – put your own wellbeing first. 

3.      Write down your worries – get them out of your head and onto paper. Save them for another time when you can tend to them.

 

In Summary, for the next seven days:

·        Tune into feelings of contentment – the most important!

·        Togetherness – connect with your family and community by way of get-togethers or meals.

·        Add yellows, browns or soft pinks to your wardrobe and surroundings.

·        Choose comfortable clothes and fabrics.

·        Surround yourself with earth images.

·        Use your kitchen.

·        Look through your photos and reminisce your friends and family.

·        Plan a party.

·        Garden.

·        Walk barefoot.

·        Hugs!


 WEEK 5

Metal Alchemy

Metal energy is refined, clean, smooth, analytical and structured.

Do This

1.      Spend at least 1 hour everyday alone – get some space, breathing room and privacy to be alone with your thoughts.

2.      Be predictable – eg rise and eat at the same time every day this week. Sameness is the key.

3.      Create sacred space – declutter surface areas in your private space. Clutter represents delayed decisions which can stifle metal energy.

Don’t Do This

1.      Avoid crowds or noisy places.

2.      Don’t rush – be smooth, refined and elegant in your movement and scheduling.

3.      Don’t eat fast food – eat refined.

 

In Summary, for the next seven days:

·        “I am Enough” – this is your most important mantra for the week. Believe in your own abilities.

·        Place images of the sky within your sight – the sky is limitless, open and high.

·        Wear your best clothes – refinement is the key.

·        Reduce visual clutter on surface areas.

·        Seek subtle energy work – acupuncture, kinesiology, breathwork etc.

·        Add whites, greys and metallics to your life and wardrobe.

·        Wear fragrance – the best you have.

·        Boost your self-esteem – look back over the last 12 months to acknowledge how far you’ve come.

·        Spend time in open, high spaces.

·        Notice the beauty around you.

·        Practice gratitude.

As your metal energy heals, you’ll find clarity and become unstuck. You’ll get back into the rhythm of growth and forward progress.

Don’t force this. Trust the process. Receive the doors that open to you. Welcome new opportunities. Journal your experiences over these five weeks.
