Myths and Legends of Wealth Attraction

Have you been watching the TV series Succession?

Is it just me, or do you also wonder why Shiv Roy (and her brothers) bother with the drama of work when they're already billionaires in their own right? It all looks so unnecessarily hard. 

When you have a six billion dollar personal fortune do you even need to work? What's the point of having all this wealth when you don't have any balance in your life? 

This is the tragedy of Shiv. She is surrounded by luxury with every physical need met, except for emotional security and love. The foundation of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. 

Movies, stories, myths and legends all add to our subconscious programming about how to live life. After all, we are tribal, and 50 years ago or so, being kicked out of the tribe (especially as a woman) meant you simply didn't survive! 

Love, security and a sense of belonging are basic needs for all humans and the fiction of Succession may be affecting you more than you think. Whether you watch the show or not, this is a standard theme in many fictional dramas and social conditioning: 

Money doesn't buy you love.

So we tell ourselves this as our compromise: ‘I wouldn’t want wealth anyway because it will mean I don’t have love and I’d rather have love’.

And we stay at the income level we’re at. Because, we subconsciously believe that having more means we have to have less of something else.

So, yes, Succession does remind us that money doesn't necessarily ensure love. But the way I see it, being wealthy is still a hell of a lot better than being poor and you’re allowed to have both!

Succession also reminds us that love and emotional security are not necessarily a function of money. That's because love and emotional security are available to you now. It's the same as happiness. They are a choice. 

What I do know is that more wealth will flow to you if you don’t hold any negative beliefs about having more.

In other words, don’t push the energy of wealth away by associating it with emotional insecurity - because it’s just not true. Like attracts like and living your life in a high vibration of love cannot help but also tap into the vibration of abundance and wealth. They are one and the same.

Be attractive to the vibration you want to attract. 

Choose to see the love and security in your life now - more money will simply amplify who you already are.
